End-User Licence Agreement
For RevisionSplicer, published by Poff Pro Media LLC (“we”, “us”). Effective date: on launch.
By installing or using RevisionSplicer (“the Software”) you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use it, and request a refund under the Refund Policy.
1. Licence grant
Subject to payment and your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software:
- Perpetual licence — a perpetual right to use every version released during your 12-month update term. When the term ends the Software keeps working; it stops receiving new versions until you renew.
- Up to three (3) activations at a time. You may deactivate a machine yourself to free a slot.
- 14-day free trial with full functionality, offered once; a licence is required afterward to produce output.
This is a licence, not a sale of the Software. We retain all ownership.
2. Activation and offline use
The Software verifies your licence at activation and re-checks periodically in the background. It is designed to work offline; a verification failure due to no network does not disable it. If it cannot reach our server for more than 30 days, it will ask you to reconnect before producing further output. We may suspend a licence that is refunded, charged back, or used in violation of §4.
3. What you may do
Use the Software to produce your own and your clients’ video deliverables, commercially, with no per-output royalty, on your machines within the activation limit.
4. What you may not do
You may not copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lend the Software or your licence key; share your key beyond your activation slots; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software or defeat its licensing (except where that restriction is prohibited by law); remove proprietary notices; or use the Software to infringe any third party’s rights.
5. Updates
We may provide updates, some required for continued compatibility when Adobe changes Premiere Pro. Updates are delivered under this Agreement and are never installed silently — you choose when to apply them.
6. Your content and verifying output
The Software runs entirely on your computer; we do not receive or process your media. You are responsible for your content and for the rights to edit it.
The Software modifies deliverables by re-using unchanged portions of a prior export and re-rendering only changed regions. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying every deliverable before delivering it. The Software includes a verification tool for this; we strongly recommend using it.
7. Third-party components
The Software invokes ffmpeg (used under the GNU LGPL; licence texts and a source offer ship with the installer) and runs as an extension to Adobe Premiere Pro, which you license separately from Adobe. RevisionSplicer is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Adobe.
8. Warranty disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, work with every version of Premiere Pro, or that every deliverable will be correct.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR MEDIA, MISSED DEADLINES, OR CLAIMS BY YOUR CLIENTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENCE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
10. Term and termination
This Agreement applies while you use the Software and terminates automatically on a material breach (e.g. §4). On termination you must stop using and uninstall it. §§6, 8, 9 and 11 survive. A refund terminates your licence.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
